Happy Thanksgiving

What a wonderful time of year to express my gratitude and thanks for all that I have and all of my many blessings. I am oh so thankful for my family and all the joy they bring into my life. They lift me up and give me hope in these troubled times. My son Jefferson told me the whole story of how Thanksgiving started. It is pretty amazing all of the things he remembers. He is an incredible story teller. I am thankful for that because I am not so good. I am grateful for my sweet little girl Sarah Bear. She always makes me smile. I am grateful that my kids love each other so much. They are pretty much inseparable. I am tremendously grateful for my wonderful husband who inspires me to be a better person every day. For all of his hard work and perseverance. He truly is amazing!! I could not Live without him. I could go on and on but I think I'll just stop there. Happy Thanksgiving and to all keep giving!!

Staheli's Farm

Super Hero's

Father Son Campout

The Boys decided to take a camping trip. They went up to Pine Mountain and froze their butts off. They shot Dad's pelet gun, which gave Jefferson a mark right between the eyes. They cut sap from the trees with a pocket knife. All pretty much Jefferson's idea. Did I mention the campground was closed so they had to hike about a mile to get there incognito!! John carried everything including Jefferson on his back.

This is what an hour and a half of sleep will do to a 30 year old. Not a pretty site. Yikes!!

Quack Honk Crunch

These kids were in Duck Heaven. We brought the ducks and others croutons(a year past experation date) to eat. The kids liked them too. They really enjoyed looking at the ducks together. Oh, aren't they cute!!

BOO

Halloween is here every day in the

Shepherd home. We made this little spooky grave yard for FHE last monday. Every time Sarah looks at the Halloween Decor she says "Boo" about a trillion times!! She is my funny girl! This is definitely their Favorite time of year!! Spooktacular

Star Wars Party

This Party was all Star Wars. They went on a Scavanger hunt called "Lost in Hot Space." By the time they found the Star they were exhausted and sweating out their eye balls. They loved hitting the Pinata with the Star Wars light sabers. Jefferson's never going to forget this. Thanks everybody for coming to celebrate Jefferson's Day!!

Jefferson Turns 4!!!!

My little boy is not so little any more. He turned 4 on September 13, 2008. He's already dreaming big.

Here he is on the morning of his B-day taking a ride in a Ferarri and is Favorite car Ford Mustang GT. He was just gleaming from ear to ear. After he rode in his dream cars he said to me" Mom, this was the best day of my life and mom I've got to get one of those so I can ride every day of my life.
